Driven by the "Dual Carbon" policy and the Kigali Amendment, the replacement of refrigerants in commercial freezers is accelerating. R290 (propane) refrigerant models now account for over 40% of the market. R290 is a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with ODP=0 and GWP≈3, reducing carbon emissions by approximately 80% compared to traditional R404A refrigerant, meeting EU CBAM carbon tariff and domestic green procurement requirements. Its high thermal conductivity and fast cooling speed allow for rapid temperature reduction within 3 minutes, suitable for fresh produce, cooked food, and ice cream scenarios. Through micro-channel heat exchangers and explosion-proof designs, R290 safety has gained international recognition, making it the primary configuration for domestic high-end models and exports.
